I've been thinking about you

objectives
-  Ss form about five sentences using  the present perfect tense.(affirmative/negative/yes or no q?&whq)
-  Complete at least 8 sentences with their own ideas


        -Ss answer an online choosing exercise related to the rule
CS
    5.3     Recount and compare events, situations, narratives and personal experiences in the past, using the simple past, past continuous, past perfect and present perfect for the general past, as appropriate

Warm up
Revise the use of 'Have' with plural pronouns and 'Has' with singular ones.

Use the blog for the Ss to post/ write sentences to check understanding

·         Starter:
Divide the class in to groups and ask each group to write as many sentences as they can using has or have within 5 m. Remind them that everyone is responsible about the results of her group,so they have to work together.
.Demonstration:
Ask do you remember the last sentence in the song."I've been thinking about you."

I will stop the ppt slide shaw at specific points to check pupils understanding(ex. the difference between Since/For)

 ·   Individual activity competition :follow the website
Choose individual pupils from each group to read the sentence and type the correct answer. Checking their answers online, the S who answers correctly will be the winner. 
·   Pair Activity:
students answer Q3 forming sentences in present perfect continuous using since or for.
·  Group Activity:Guessing  game
First individually ,students read the situation and guess the answer , write it using present perfect continuous. Use the blog to post their ideas to be shown for the rest of their followers .

Closure
Form a foldable book illustrating the rule and write your own examples.

Advance: Ask students to write a paragraph about 15 sentences describing  what  they have been doing throughout the day.  Then post it in the blog
Foundation: answer the following test then print it out.
